That said, our years of quiet determination haven't gone unnoticed; these days, we stand as one of the Yarra Valley's most well-known wineries, crafting the wines that Victoria does best.
WINEMAKER
DAVID LI
Extensive experience, a sharp palate and a passion for winemaking has led Dave to the Sticks winemaking helm. Serendipitously, Dave was the winemaker at Greenstone Winery, which in a previous life was once Sticks. He's been connected to Sticks’ winemaking history for a decade before taking the reigns in 2023, when we set up stumps in our new spot in Healesville.
A true quiet achiever from his early days, Dave finished with top of the class grades while studying in China. Ever ambitious, he came to Australia to undertake a Masters of Viticulture and Oenology degree and has been knee-deep in the Yarra Valley winemaking landscape ever since.
ASSISTANT BRAND MANAGER
REBECCA IOANNIDIS
A brand marketing and communications professional, Rebecca's early studies in art history and literature led her to the world of brand marketing, where image and stories collide.
Based in Melbourne, she joined the wine industry in 2019. Her passion for sharing the process from vineyard to bottle coupled with her background brought her to the Sticks team where she manages all digital, trade, social and event marketing.
